For more than 15 years the Rochester Housing Development Fund Corporation (RHDFC) and Greater Rochester Housing Partnership (GRHP) have been rehabilitating vacant homes, revitalizing neighborhoods, and providing quality affordable homeownership opportunities in the City of Rochester.
This work is done through strong partnerships with the City of Rochester and Rochester Land Bank Corporation and numerous other critical partners. The RHDFC acquires vacant homes and works with these partners to rehabilitate the homes for low and moderate-income first-time homebuyers. The RHDFC leverages financing needed to acquire and rehabilitate these homes. GRHP provides management services to the program as well as needed financing.
HOME Rochester homes are beautiful, single-family homes located within the City of Rochester. Each home is as unique as the neighborhood in which it is located. Typical HOME Rochester homes feature natural wood trim, hardwood floors, off-street parking, and often include front porches. All homes are lead safe and incorporate green building standards and energy efficiency measures.
In 2019, the RHDFC expanded its service area to rehabilitate properties in Monroe County.
